Bangkok 122 - Chatuchak Weekend Market

I lost count of how many times I'd been to this flea market, and I don't think I will ever get tired of visiting this weekend market. Since it was only our second day in Bangkok and we were pretty much energized, we took the BTS and got into the market by 9am. After a quick breakfast at the chicken noodle soup, we started our shopping frenzy without further delay. We spent over 8 hours there from 9am til 5pm, until the market was about to close and the sun was setting. Thanks to my FitFlop, I survived the gruesome all day walking in Chatuchak Weekend Market without feeling much pain on my legs, unlike my previous visits whereby my legs were so pain I had to leave the market early after all those walking.
Most of the fashionable and better looking items (clothes and accessories) are located at Section 2-4, with some other stuff (clothes, accessories, home decor, handicrafts) all jumbled up in the middle of the market at Section 10-25. I still couldn't finish walking the whole Chatuchak Weekend Market after so many times I'd been there.
This time around I think I managed to control myself better, without going crazy with all the shopping. But too bad for my girl friend who was there for the first time, she totally blew all her budget that day, though she left as a happy girl with all the new bought clothes, accessories and home stuff. Well so did I, left as a happy girl with all my new stuffs....

Getting There: Chatuchak/Jatujak market is adjacent to the Kamphaengphet station of the MRT Blue Line, or about a 5-minute walk from the Mo Chit station of the BTS Skytrain Sukhumvit Line and another MRT station, Chatuchak Park.

One of the nice shops that I discovered this time was Hob Shop (Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/hobshop). They have some really cool and nicely designed clutches, all young and edgy, so I couldn't help myself but to buy one lovely gold coloured snake skin clutch for THB690.
